Global Design Project #226- Sketch Challenge

Hello stampers! I decided to participate in this week’s Global Design Project Challenge.  Sometimes I like to challenge myself in a fun way!

So here is my entry, tell me what you think-

I just purchased the Music From The Heart stamp set and couldn’t wait to play with it! So this is what I came up with.  I love that you can turn the Treble Clef into a guitar. I didn’t want to color but I wanted to add a “splash of color” so I used the a stamp from the Painted Poppies stamp set. This will be my Valentine’s Day card to my daughters.  We love music in our family so this is perfect!

Measurements-

• Bermuda Bay Cardstock- 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
• Real Red cardstock- 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
• Whisper White cardstock- 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Real Red cardstock- 1″ x 2″

Coffee & a Card: Little Ladybug Hostess set

Happy Sunday crafty friends! Did you catch my facebook live this morning? If not, don’t worry! You can watch the REPLAY HERE if you missed it.

It’s the Sunday before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring except for a little lady bug! LOL!

I have fallen madly in love with the adorable stamp set! It’s not available to customers until January 3rd but as a demonstrator I got it early! If you buy the starter kit from me this month, you can get it early too as part of your kit! How cool is that?

On January 3rd, the only way to earn the Ladybug set will be to place a $300 order or host a party with sales of $300. This little cutie was made using our Mini Curvy Keepsake Dies. I love punch art and this little box makes for a darling little Ladybug. I wanted the ladybug to have black and red so Watch the Replay to see how I combined 2 of the cutouts to make this.

How perfect is this sentiment?! These would make awesome party favors or Valentine’s Day treats. Love it!!

Project #2 is easy and pretty! I think this Ladybug stamp set goes so well with the Peaceful Poppies DSP. Don’t you think?

I colored some of the new Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding ribbon with a Real Red Blend marker and put it behind the ladybug. This card came together in a flash and it’s so adorable!

For the last project, I made a Valentine’s Day card.

I made a fancy band around the card and framed the Ladybug using the Ornate Frame dies. Isn’t she an adorable love bug?

When you open the card you find another love bug and a Happy Valentine’s Day. I used the sentiment from Everyday Seasons for this card. It goes perfectly!
