Coffee & a Card: Witty-Cisms Stamp set

Hello Sunday crafty friends! I hope you joined me live on Facebook for today’s projects but if you missed it, you can always watch the REPLAY HERE.

Today I featured this adorable stamp set called Witty-cisms. It’s so cute and I just LOVE the puns! I’m a sucker for both!

I was blessed to see this set in action at our Stampin’ Up! conference in Las Vegas in November so I knew right away I wanted it! First off, this cactus! Doesn’t it “look sharp” against the crackled paint stamped background and the Stone 3D embossed cardstock? I love the look of Granny Apple green and Sahara Sand together. We even have matching ribbons! I think the use of our new Stitched So Sweetly dies adds to the fun! You can  Watch the replay to see how easy it comes together!

For the second card I made a festive card using the Taco image.

Not only is this little happy taco too cute to eat but the pun is so fun! I also featured the new Metallic Baker’s Twine Combo pack which is FREE during Sale-a-bration with a $50 and the party banner dies from the Bonanza dies set. I love how festive this card is!

Last project is a Valentine’s Day Strawberry flavored cupcake I baked in our new Heart Tins. I couldn’t wait to use the Strawberry on the tag.

I added an extra surprise too! If you scratch the strawberry it actually smells like STRAWBERRIES! I used the Scratch and Sniff technique that I just taught in my class to make this strawberry extra sweet! Watch the replay to see how you can make your stamps scratch and sniff.

Coffee & a Card: Heartfelt Bundle

Happy Sunday crafty friends! I hope you were able to join me live on facebook but if not, you can always watch the REPLAY HERE.

I am determined to have all my Valentine’s day treats made and ready to send out this year. I tend to miss the mark alot of the time. But this year I am determined to get a head start.

It has been easy to design with this beautiful new Heartfelt Bundle from Stampin’ Up! My first project is a simple but beautiful card.

The From My Heart Specialty Designer Series paper and all the fun embellishments make this suite so easy to play with! I mean look at those adorable Heart Doilies! So fun! Plus I have to admit that I am a sucker for punches and the Heartfelt Bundle comes with 2 of them! YAY!! Instructions are on my FB video. Watch the replay anytime!

I found these fun DOVE caramel chocolates at Walmart and I loved that I could spell a message with them! I completely changed the measurements for this card/box to fit these chocolates, The Measurements are below on my Project sheet link. Watch the replay to see how I assembled this project.

My last project is a a fun box that I used to hold Valentine’s Day Pencils. But this could easily hold Hershey Kisses or other yummy chocolates as well.

I used a tutorial from PaperPixie to make this box and just modified it to be a bit longer to fit my pencils. You can see her tutorial HERE.  Watch the replay if you need help assembling this fun treat!

Coffee & a Card: Action Wobbler Spring cards

Hello Sunday crafty friends! Another fabulous facebook live today! If you missed it, you can watch the REPLAY HERE.

I have heard of but never seen the little gadgets called action wobblers. I finally got my hands on some and it changed my cards forever!

I can now bring my adorable critters to life on my card with the flick of my finger. How fun! So here are today’s projects-

This first card uses the Little Ladybug Hostess stamp set. Aren’t these little ladies adorable?! And then Stampin’ Up! made it 10x cooler but adding coordination dies! These Coordination Products released to Demonstrators on January 3rd but will be available to all customers in February. You can see the list here-

I added a wobbler behind the flying ladybug. She now looks like she is flapping her wings! Instructions for this card and how to use the Wobblers are on my FB video. Watch the replay anytime!

For the second card I brought a bee to life on my card. I love the Honey Bee Bundle and the matching Golden Honey Designer Series Paper that I got free from the Sale-a-bration catalog.

This is a fun fold card so it opens in the middle.

Last project is a birthday gift box using the Bonanza Buddies Bundle. I really love these adorable animals! This box is very easy to make and the wobbly lion on the front is adorable!

Coffee & a Card: Mountain Air Bundle

Happy Sunday crafty friends! Did you catch my facebook live this morning? If not, you can watch the REPLAY HERE if you missed it.

Happy New Year! And YAY for the new Mini Catalog! It’s here! It’s available and I’m LOVING IT!

Today’s projects are using the new Mountain Air Bundle and then I have 1 project using something feminine to make something masculine. 🙂

I CASED this card from the new Mini Catalog. There are so many inspiring projects from the catalog. It’s always a good place to start for ideas.

I mixed up the colors a bit from the catalog and the sentiment is different but I sure love the layout. It looks like a window into a beautiful view! I also felt that the window needed some texture so I embossed mine with the Pinewood Plank Embossing folder. Instructions are on my FB video. Watch the replay anytime!

The second card is also an attempt at CASING the catalog. I love these nighttime sky scenes. I love using the pigment sprinkles to make them. So this is my take on that beautiful card in the catalog-

I didn’t know quite how they made the black trees sparkly, so what I decided to do was emboss them with the black shimmer Embossing powder. I am sure there are other ways but this worked great!

The background is a combination of Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape Pigment Sprinkles. Watch the replay to see how I created this beautiful card.

Last project is a backpack made from the Best Dressed Suite. The purse dies can easily be turned into a backpack by adding 1 piece of cardstock.

Every adventurer needs a backpack to go exploring! I like that I can take a very feminine suite and make something masculine from it. How fun right? Watch the replay to see how I made this.

Mountain Air Bundle and my new exclusive Facebook Group!
