Oh happy day! Its Sunday! Every Sunday I go live at 8am PST on my Facebook group page. Did you get to watch me live this morning? If not, don’t worry! You can watch the REPLAY HERE if you missed it.
Halloween is only 11 days away! Those that know me, know it’s my most Favorite holiday! I love to dress up, eat candy and watch scary movies! I get to be a BIG KID again!
So I could not let this holiday slip me by without showing you how easy these last minute Halloween Coffins are to make as gifts for friends, family and co-workers.
First project is a bright yet spooky coffin!
Why would anyone ever make a coffin so bright? Well because I was tipped off by a FB friend (Lisa Carter) THANK YOU! She told me I better hurry to Michaels Craft Store because they had coffins full of slime that fit inside the Stampin’ Up!’s Coffin Boxes!
These adorable Slime Coffins come in 4 colors. So I grabbed an arm full and ran home to make these matching Coffin Boxes to give to friends this year. EASY AND DONE!
Project #2 is a traditional Dracula’s Coffin!
I embossed the lid of the coffin with the Tin Tile Embossing folder and cut out a Dracula using the Monster Bash DSP. Can’t get easier than that! Then I used a piece of the Real Red Rouched Ribbon as a little decoration behind the label. This ribbon is PERFECT for a Dracula’s coffin. Why do you ask? well check out the inside-
Wrapping the ribbon around the inside of the coffin and lining the bottom with a piece of Real Red Cardstock made the perfect coffin for Dracula!
I found these Vampire teeth and “blood candy” at the Dollar Tree! You get a whole pack for $1!! My kind of savings!
Project #3 is a cool coffin!
I used the Craft White Ink and the Copper Metallic Ink to “Grunge” the coffin up. Then I stamped some Copper Spider webs using the Wonderfully Wicked Stamp set. I finished it off by creating a copper label.
Inside, I cut out a bottom liner in Monster Bash DSP and filled it with dark chocolate Kisses.
On my Facebook Live Video this morning, I am going to try using a Gorgeous Grape label to match the Hershey Kisses. 🙂 Click here to-Watch the replay to see these 3 treat boxes come together!
