Coffee & a Card: Over The Moon!

Happy Sunday! It’s time for Coffee and a Card again! I go Live on Facebook every Sunday at 8am PST to demonstrate 3 projects using Stampin’ Up! products. You can watch the REPLAY HERE if you missed it.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this adorable new Cow stamp set called Over the Moon.  I am a sucker for cutesy sets!

I had fun playing with these cute cows and can’t wait to show you what I’ve come up with!

Project #1 is a party! A cow Party!

FB live 6-30

I paired the cows with the new Chicken Wire Stamp Set. I embossed the chicken wire with Silver Embossing powder to make it appear like metal. Then I had cut circles for the cows to peek through,

Watch my video to learn how to make a cow party of your own!

Project #2 is a Moon Pie treat holder!

FB live 6-30 moon

Isn’t that just adorable?! I love that the little cow is dreaming on the moon. And what better to have a a treat to go with this little cutie than an actual Moon Pie?! This would make a wonderful party favor!

For project #3 I decorated a Milk Bottle-FB live 6-30 bottle

Throw in a straw and some chocolate milk and you’re all set! I love these little glass bottles!

I hope I’ve inspired you to play with these cute Cows! They are Utterly Fantastic!

Directions for these projects are on my FB Live Video. You can also see the measurements on the project sheets below-

Coffee & a Card: New Pigment Sprinkles!

Happy Sunday! It’s time for Coffee and a Card again! I go Live on Facebook every Sunday at 8am PST to demonstrate 3 projects using Stampin’ Up! products. You can watch the REPLAY HERE if you missed it.

Those of you that know me, know how much I loved the Brusho Crystal Colors by Stampin’ Up! Well did you know that they have a new product that replaced Brusho called Pigment Sprinkles?

These watercolor cyrstals activate with water and make the most beautiful backgrounds filled with bright vibrant colors. There are 6 different colors- Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.  I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them and let me tell you that when I did, I was NOT disappointed!

I’m so excited to show you what I created! Project #1 is a simple mixture of color as a bold background!

Brusho love

By simply sprinkling these Pigment Sprinkles on Shimmery White cardstock and activating them with water, you can create this stunning card!Brusho love inside

I wanted the inside to be just a colorful so I added some more pigment sprinkles to the inside. Watch my video to learn how to make this bright beautiful card!

Project #2 features an underwater background-

Brush ocean

To create this back ground, I did 3 to 4 layers of color using Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay Pigment Sprinkles. After the first layer was dry, I used my Aqua Painter to splatter some water onto the card to create the water droplets in in the back ground. Then I did another layer of Bermuda Bay Pigment Sprinkles, dried the yardstick and again sprinkled water using the Aqua painter to create more water droplets. Then I finished decorating the card by using the Sea of Textures Stamp Set and Under The Sea Dies. I love Mr. Octopus and how cool this card turned out!

For project #3 I wanted to show how you can use Versamark and Clear Emboss Powder to create a beautiful background. It’s like making your own designer Series Paper.Brush flowers background

By Embossing the flowers in clear embossing powder, I was able to paint with the pigment sprinkles and make a stunning background piece. I love how bright the colors are!

If you aren’t looking for a less messy way to create these stunning backgrounds, then I suggest you try the new See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper. It is 12 sheets of beautiful Brusho inspired designs perfect for your creations.
